Short Biography:

Born in late October 1986, I began expressing my sense for art and aesthetics at an early age through music, singing, dance, poetry, and painting. From a young age, many people around me had their own ideas for my future: My grandmother wanted to send me to art school because of my talent for drawing and painting. My teachers tried to push me toward a degree in literature due to my gift for language and expression. But all I ever wanted was to sing and express myself. From the very beginning, I knew exactly who I was, what I wanted to do, and that I wouldn't let anyone from the outside influence me, put me in a box, or mold me. I have always stayed true to myself and my path – an awareness, self-knowledge, and inner strength I inherited from my father.

At just 11 months old, I discovered my father's harmonica – the beginning of a natural, lifelong development of my artistic and musical abilities. My childhood was filled with music, movement, art, and competitive sports. Becoming a singer was always the core thread of my life, with everything else – dance, high-level sports, painting, and making music – falling into place around it.

At the age of two, my father taught me how to recognize songs on the keyboard by ear, hear individual tones from a melody, and find and play them on the keys.

Before my younger brother was born, my favorite pastime was dancing and singing to my parents’ music. I was fascinated by recording my voice with a children's cassette recorder and microphone and then listening back to it.

As soon as my little brother was old enough, I included him in this joy, and together we began creating and practicing our own choreographies.

At age 8, I earned my first money singing. It was during Fasnacht, the Swiss carnival, when I went door to door with my best friend in her village, singing little songs for the residents.

Later, from 7th to 9th grade, I was the lead singer of the school band. That’s where I gained my first stage and band experience and took my initial steps as a songwriter.

At the same time, from the age of 8 to 20, I was a 10-time mountain bike series champion in Western Switzerland and ranked among the top 3 junior women in Switzerland and top 14 worldwide in mountain bike cross-country as a member of the Swiss national team.

In 2006, however, I consciously left competitive sports behind because my professional path was always meant to be in singing. Since I didn’t dare move to London alone, I relocated from Western Switzerland to Zurich, where I began serious vocal training with internationally recognized vocal coaches in private lessons. Later, I studied with renowned vocal coaches from the US and London, continuing to refine my singing to this day.

During my 12-year career as a competitive athlete, I was also active for over 8 years in dance fitness. Driven by my deep passion for sports, dance, and music, I chose to undergo professional training as a dance fitness instructor. Once I established myself in Zurich, I drew on my additional skills, talents, and qualifications as an artist and world-class athlete to finance my private singing lessons and support myself while pursuing my path as a singer.

Drawing on my holistic knowledge and experience, as well as my love and passion for movement, health, music, dance, and fitness, I developed and led my own course concepts and programs in the fields of fitness, dance, music, and movement. Additionally, I completed further education to become a certified music and movement instructor for parents and children.

Since 2012, I have created and developed:

  • My holistic health and dance fitness program for women,

  • The Kids Dance Fun classes for children aged 4 to 12,

  • Music and Dance courses for parents with babies and toddlers – offerings that holistically combine health, joy, and self-expression.

Because these activities combine everything I love and bring me deep joy, I have always pursued and expanded these offerings alongside my calling as a singer. In 2014, I also added a professional face painting service for children: Little Star Faces – Face Painting by Gabriela Glaus.

As a singer, holistic health and well-being – emotionally, mentally, and physically – are the essential foundation for being able to develop and express my voice as an artistic instrument with power and authenticity.

Accordingly, throughout my years of training, I have deeply immersed myself in each of these aspects (voice, singing, music, physical, emotional, and mental health) in a holistic and professional manner. Through a traditionally guided Indian Institute for Inner Sciences, I received in-depth training over three years in the authentic practice of yoga and meditation, gaining insight into their origins and beginning to experience their healing qualities for holistic health and well-being. I now joyfully share this wisdom, knowledge, exercises, and experience in my private yoga and meditation sessions.

I love bringing joy and holistic well-being into the world through music as a connecting element and touching people with my skills, knowledge, experience, and talents. As a singer and artist, my intention is to enrich others' lives with beautiful experiences of music, movement, and relaxation through my songs, offerings, retreats, workshops, and courses – with joy, health, and ease.

Today, I work as an independent singer, holistic artist, educator, and performer. My artistic work unites over 30 years of experience in music, art, competitive sports, and holistic health. Through my songs, performances, courses, retreats, and offerings, I interweave music, self-expression, and a deep love, joy, and heartfelt feeling for life.
